We’re always looking for unique and exciting timbers to bring to the Australian market, and when we came across Cadorin, we were very excited. Not only are their products 100% made in Italy (unlike some other “Italian” timbers), Cadorin have also created the most luxurious range of timbers, with a gold, silver or copper leaf throughout. This internationally patented range is ideal for architects and developers who want their projects to stand above the rest.
Our purpose for partnering with Cadorin is to bring something other than what is currently available to the Australian market and to give designers and architects more options. Cadorin are one of the oldest Italian timber manufacturers and one of the very few companies who still use the old Artisan methods. They are also a family run business and their passion and dedication runs through to every plank that they produce.
Cadorin are very mindful of the environment and they use renewable energy resources through thermal energy obtained through wood production waste. Cadorin are sustainably focussed and their whole ethos to the ecosystem is very different to the boards that are manufactured elsewhere abroad. Cadorin are completely formaldehyde free, they only use natural oils, they use vinyl glues that are completely non-toxic, and they source most of their timber, 0ks, all sustainable, all sourced locally.
Cadorin’s range of products feature the most beautiful finishes, many of which are still done by hand. Their finishes are very appealing to what designers are looking for and they really create the allure of natural, untreated timbers, which are perfect for wall finishes and joinery. No one can compete with Italian finishes and these finishes surpass other manufacturers abroad. Cadorin’s boards are incredibly beautiful, regardless of whether or not you have the golf leaf. This level of care and quality is so exquisite and we know that architects and designers are going to love them.
