Appearance:
The turpentine wood colour varies from a reddish brown to a dark chocolate brown, while the sapwood is a more pale reddish brown. The texture is medium to fine and even, the grain is generally straight. Simply apply clear vanish to create elegant looking timber floor.
Properties:
Janka hardness rating is 12kn, density 930kg/m3, turpentine is a very durable hardwood timber floor, even better than spotted gum and close to grey ironbark. This timber is naturally resistant to termites. It absolutely belongs to the top range of the reds series in hardwood flooring.
