Appearance:

Red mahogany colour vary from pale red to deep dark red, the sapwood can sometimes have a creamy colour. It tends to have a more consistent look than other Eucalyptus wood species. Its texture is medium coarse and even with typical interlocked grain and rippled appearance.

Properties:

Red mahogany is very hard timber species with Janka hardness rating 12kn, dry density 950kg/m3. It is naturally resistant to termites and will readily accept clear vanish to give you fabulous hard wood timber flooring.
